Monday October 6, 2008  from 4:30-5:45pm in Stanley Coulter 108.  Leah Glasser, Dean of Students at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, will be speaking on “A Gendered Discourse on Time and Space” as part of a cross-listed seminar on Visualizing Temporality.

Prof. Glasser has published on 19th century women writers with an emphasis on narrative autobiography in the context of landscape.

Her talk (in English) is sponsored by the Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures, the IDIS Program of Comparative Literature, and the German Section.
